 The 2009 "Showcase of Bands" was a great success! Many thanks to every one who made the event possible!

Ephrata performed extremely well, receiving a score of 84.1 - which is a huge increase over our last score. Well Done!

After a two year hiatus, Ephrata will again host the

 “Showcase of Bands” Competition

The Ephrata High School Marching Unit, in conjunction with the Ephrata Band Parents Association, is pleased to announce the “Showcase of Bands” High School Marching Band Competition, to be held on October 31, 2009.

The Ephrata High School Marching Unit will be hosting a High School Marching Band Competition, the “Showcase of Bands”, on October 31, 2009, at the War Memorial Field, behind the Ephrata High School.  Gates will open at 12:00pm and the first Marching Band takes the field in competition at 1pm.  The event will conclude with an awards ceremony at 4:15 pm.  The “Showcase of Bands” has been a long-standing tradition for the EHS Marching Unit, and all are invited to attend this exciting competition!  This year we are pleased to announce that we will have ten visiting High School Marching Bands performing in the competition.  In addition to the competing bands, additional performances from the Millersville University Marching Band and the Ephrata HS Marching Unit are scheduled.  During the competition, the War Memorial Association will open their concession and snack stand, as well.

Ticket Prices: Adults - $6.00  in advance (contact showcase@ehsmu.org)

                                $8.00 at the gate

                        Students / Seniors - $4.00 at all times
